How we collect or obtain personal information about you

We collect personal information about you when you provide it to us, such as through your use of our website and its features, when you contact us directly by email, phone, in writing, or via social media, when you order goods and services, when you use any of our other websites or applications or any other means by which you provide personal information to us. 

Email marketing messages, text messages & subscription

Under the GDPR we use the consent lawful basis for anyone subscribing to our marketing mailing list. By taking clear affirmative action and submitting your details and freely clicking the consent box, you give us an unambiguous indication that we can contact you regularly with information and special offers about our services.

We only collect certain data about you, as detailed in the " Personal information we collect or obtain about you" above. Any email marketing messages we send are done so through an EMS, email marketing service provider. An EMS is a third party service provider of software / applications that allows us to send out email marketing campaigns to a list of users.

Email marketing messages that we send may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of data such as; times, dates, I.P addresses, opens, clicks, forwards, geographic and demographic data. Such data, within its limitations will show the activity each subscriber made for that email campaign.

Any email marketing messages we send are in accordance with the GDPR and the PECR. Each email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, which provides you with an easy method to withdraw your consent (unsubscribe) at any time. To withdraw your consent for us to send you text mesages just respond to one of our texts at any time. Our EMS provider is AWeber.

Personal information we collect or obtain about you and will hold within our EMS system

The type of information we collect about you may include information such as: • your name; • your email address; • your phone number; • information about your computer (e.g. your IP address and browser type); • information about how you use our website (e.g. which pages you have viewed, the time you viewed them and what you clicked on and your geographical location)

Where we store your personal data

The data that we collect from you will be processed through AWeber. AWeber has been awarded TRUSTe's Privacy Seal signifying that this privacy policy and practices have been reviewed by TRUSTe for compliance with TRUSTe's Programme Requirements and the TRUSTed Cloud Programme Requirements including transparency, accountability and choice regarding the collection and use of your personal information.

Your email address, name and any other information you provide such as your name and phone number are held in strict confidence. We do not share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Payment transactions are processed and encrypted using the latest technology. We do not store debit/credit card details.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time by posting a new version on our website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes.
